AP Diagnostics

AP Diagnostics is a tool that provides daily statistical information on a per sensor basis. Daily counts, daily speed averages, daily wireless signal strength average speed deviations, average event latency, standard latency deviation, standard speed, and 95th-percentiles are returned. Sensor downtime and sensor reboots are also recorded. Diagnostic information can also be configured to arrive as a daily email.

Access Point ID and Time Zone

Using the pull down menu, select the Access Point of interest. Each Access Point has a unique ID, and a short description about the installation location. The time zone will be automatically set.

Start Time / End Time and Duration

The Start Time is required, and the Duration takes precedence over the End Time. If any field in the End Time is left unset, the application will use the Start Time and Duration as the time indices.

File Type

The three currently available file types are: Excel Spreadsheet, Comma Separated Values File and HTML. A user may select different file types after the initial processing as well.

Advanced Options

Adaptive Holdover

Using the entered length in feet, adaptive holdover calculates the amount of tim e the count/speed/occupancy algorithms need to holdover based on the average of the last 5 speeds calcu lated. Normally holdover is a time value, but adaptive holdover is a length. Time is derived from the le ngth, using the average speed. By default, Adaptive holdover is 10 feet.

Stuck Time

Using the entered time in seconds, stuck time sets the threshold for how long a sensor can be present before it is deemed to be "stuck high". By default, Stuck Time is 60 seconds.
